7 TIPS FOR IMPROVING RELATIONSHIPS WITH TEACHERS

SETTING GOALS FOR STUDENTS AND YOUR CHILD

FOR STUDENTS

1. Goals help our students to concentrate on the future while they plan and commit to achieve something.

2. Students should understand that goals are similar to a purpose or plan. It helps with their purpose to attend school.

3. Goals are set to be accomplished at a specific time similar to a deadline.

4. They should set goals for school and/or personal life.

5. The primary goal for all should be to live as Jesus us wants us to, serve Him in spirit and truth, and enjoy His presence and fellowship.

FOR YOUR CHILD

1. Help your child to list a goal for school.

2. Think of three steps to help accomplish the goal.

3. How will they know they accomplished the goal? What will they use as evidence? What will be the deadline to accomplish the goal?

4. After one goal is accomplished, they should set another goal.
