The Bible encourages us in Hebrews 10:24-25: “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” In times of personal worry, we find comfort in the words of Philippians 4:6-7: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Let us also remember to stay steadfast in prayer, as 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 reminds us: “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” May our time together be filled with the Holy Spirit’s presence, bringing us closer to God and to one another.
